Common Name: Ramshorn Snails
Scientific Name: Planorbidae
Origin: Worldwide
Maximum Size: 2.5 – 5 cm or 1 – 2 inches

Snail Care:
Tank Parameters Required:

  • pH – 7.0 and above

  • gH – Soft to Hard

  • Temperature – 16-27C or 60 – 80F

Temperament: Omnivore/Non-aggressive
Breeding: Prolific
Difficulty: Extremely Easy

Mixed Juvenile Snails, typically pea-sized, will be sent. They will grow to full size within approximately 2 months.

Recommended Tank Mates:
Other snail varieties (Nerite Snails, Mystery Snails, Sulawesi Snails, etc.), dwarf shrimp (Blue Velvet Shrimp, Sakura Fire Red Cherry Shrimp, Neon Yellow Shrimp, etc.), and small to medium-sized non-aggressive fish.

Additional Notes:
Ramshorn snails are highly adaptable to various water conditions and may reproduce abundantly. If overpopulation occurs, Assassin Snails can control their numbers. Be cautious of copper levels in your water, as snails are sensitive to copper.
